Andrew’s Search Before He Met Jesus

Andrew’s First Response: Bringing Others to Christ
One of Andrew’s defining traits appears immediately after his encounter with Jesus—he shared the good news.
He went straight to his brother Simon and said, “We have found the Messiah.” Andrew did not wait until he felt qualified. He simply shared what he knew to be true.
Through Andrew’s obedience, Simon Peter was introduced to Jesus—a man who would later become a foundational leader in the early church. Though Andrew rarely stood in the spotlight, his faithfulness had lasting impact.
